for the final performance of Razzle Dazzle
Beautiful That Way Written by Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li and Andrew Wyatt Starring Miley Cyrus. When I heard about this film, I immediately thought of this year’s “Substance.” Both Pamela Anderson and Demi Moore are actresses who were huge stars in their youth and their careers “were closely tied” to their looks and at a certain age they stopped getting roles in prestigious Hollywood productions, but this year they have landed roles that allow them to be on the lips of viewers again. However, Demi performed phenomenally in a highly original and daring body horror and her role will be remembered as one of the best comebacks in cinema history.
Pamela, on the other hand
well, she acts well in that movie and shows that she can be a good dramatic actress, but she is held back by the movie itself, which is too formulaic, doesn’t take risks, and doesn’t delve into the psychology of the main character, not to mention the completely unwritten supporting characters. There are some interesting plot threads, including: characters clashing over which of the performances they undertake in various clubs is art and which is pornography, but these interesting moments are quickly cut in favor of sentimental, no-nonsense scenes, like Pamela dancing on the street in Las Vegas. I didn’t like Jamie Lee Curtis in this, who acts as if she were in a completely different movie than the others.
Also, I don’t understand why the shots are sometimes so weirdly blurry at the beginning of the movie??
The plot is pretty predictable: we know how the conflicts between the characters will be resolved, and that some elements introduced at the beginning will return at the end. I think it was supposed to be part of the artistic vision, but it’s done so clumsily and inconsistently that it feels more like an accident. But at least “The Last Showgirl” is only 1 hour and 25 minutes long, so it’s not a tiring experience.
You’ll probably watch it and forget about it afterwards
