It follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then let go of the project when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop writing a script. .

Universe is promising & a welcome sight
The story takes care of the characters & the animation is top notch. Speaking of animation, the new "Tomorrow Verse" the animation looked very cheap & flat, no life in animation or story mode. DC AU of great stories like: “Under the Red Hood”, “Justice League: Darkness”; & "Superman: Doomsday" sets the standard for quality comic book animation. We collected all the animated films of the time & Not interested in tomorrow’s verse due to lazy typing & lazy animated art.
The new Superman movie is definitely on my to-see list
But Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation. I already care about the characters & the story is interesting. The art style is fun & live & well drawn James Gunn starts this universe off right & making his future projects highly anticipated. Back to the show, it’s only 2 episodes, but the anticipation & the connection with the characters is there..
