Story

Soriya goes back to Cambodia in a quest to find herself after her mother’s death, there she finds a family she has never known and an old building full of dark secrets.. There were scenes that were alright. The cinematography, the acting and the props were good, but it kinda lacked the thrill feeling for me, at least for me and the people at the cinema who were watching with me. It was kinda boring for a horror film. The next events and the ending was predictable and wasn’t unexpected. It was running for more than 1 hour, but it felt too short and unsatisfactory. And, is it just me or what really really happened to her mother wasn’t explained well? Idk what she did that made the people of the building mad at her. What happened back then that caused such things to occur today? Has there always been a curse in building? Who was the first old lady on the rocking chair? Who really is metta? Crazy.

Silo is a very good sci-fi show that has that rarity that is so sadly missing from most other sci-fi series and movies – it is actually very smart!The writing is excellent, it’s well directed and the stars are all great in the acting department

Some of the supporting and lower characters could have been better but all in all this was a job well done by the casting department.I do understand why some of the other reviews seem to point out that the show starts great but then goes off on too many "side adventures" unrelated to the main story, that don’t get resolved, but I am actually completely fine with that.

I’m sure the show will be back and that they plan to continue and resolve the various storylinesI for one am very eager to see how they tie everything in together when it comes back!

Series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross

Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in the 1997 film Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in the 2012 film Alex Cross, which was a box office flop and led Lionsgate to cancel the planned sequel Double Cross. When I was a truck driver, I ate up a lot of highway listening to James Patterson’s Alix Cross, but I don’t remember the story or stories it was based on.

That Detective Cross seemed different than I remembered

In fact, I think I was in his years working with the feds instead of the city police department. However.

This series had one major flaw for me

They seemed to be tying together too many stories. It was sometimes disconcerting to see the connections.

Others here have commented on how Morgan Freeman’s interpretation of Cross was different

On top of that, the main villain was almost a supervillain because of how well-positioned he was to get to anyone at any time. I agree, and I too would like to see this Cross act more intelligently most of the time instead of just intermittently.
