The incident with Valya Harkonnen using voice is from one called 'Mentats of Dune'. All three books interweave the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators and the Suk Doctors.. I don't want to be critical on just the first episode of a TV show, but this was just average on every level.The acting was below par, barring some of the well-known actors like Mark Strong, Emily Watson, Olivia Williams and maybe Travis Fimmel. Rest of the actors felt like were just out of movie academy or something.
I love slow-moving dramas that takes forever to build up because I know the reward is worth the wait. But this wasn't just slow, lot of things happened, but it was just boring, I don't know how else to put it. The soundtrack that did wanders in the movies were ripped off a bit here, some familiar sounds appearing here and there but it's just that the timing wasn't good. Like I heard a lot of music here that didn't make any effect.
I remembered how long in the movies we would go with just people talking and then boom, Hans Zimmer does his magic, and I would just get so pumped up. But I know that he wasn't a part of doing any sounds here and I don't even have to check that.I am not sure Denis Villeneuve was involved in this production, I hope not. Would an average tv show like this after two epic films have an effect on the much awaited third film? The reason I am wondering is that because The Penguin was so good that it made me appreciate The Batman even more than I did after my watching it and can't wait for the 2nd film.
So how would Dune: Prophecy impact the 3rd film if there will be any at all.

This is presumably because Keira Knightly stars in both.. Featured in Graham Norton i costi: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). It’s one of those common entertainments where you can’t really criticize the acting and the production values are pretty much flawless.
You think you are about to be absorbed and seduced by a complex spy thriller. Instead you soon realize that it’s neither serious nor funny. As is so often the case these days it’s the paucity of the story that is the problem.
It has quirky characters and indeed characters with all the charm and conversational wit one expects of psychopaths. They could be related to Eve from Killing Eve but these are poor cousins and don’t really add up well on the scale of DNA psychopath inheritance. It’s a comic book caricature of a spy thriller with a storyline that relies on a thin plot and frequent action scenes to fill the spaces.
"One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.

Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and her family are competing to win the team's Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by the director of fan engagement Derrick.. The film was shot on location on the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like that year round. The locations that served as the Higman family’s store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are family owned shops in real life too.
The Square also does a Christmas lighting like the one in the film.. Alana Higman (Hunter King) is a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her parents met as kids with their families sitting next to each other at the games.
They are up for the Fan of the Year contest. Director of fan engagement Derrick (Tyler Hynes) is doing the assessment. The most compelling relationship in this movie is the one between Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs.
I expected more actual Kansas City Chiefs. I was expecting a few high profile players to run into our couple. The players should want that too.
As for the couple, I have always liked Hunter King’s comedic timing and Tyler Hynes seems perfectly fine although they could try for Niall Cunningham. There are surprisingly a lot of familiar faces in the other roles. This is fine Hallmark and maybe more synergy to come.

Local rebellious teenager Clotaire falls in love with his schoolmate Jackie – but gang violence leads him down a darker, more destructive path. Malik Frikah, who plays 17-year-old Clotaire in this film, was a world champion breakdancer when he was 10. One of the characters wears a Rolex Daytona Ceramic in the 1990s, but the watch wasn’t released until 2016.
The first part, with the kids, is pretty good. The film should have ended there for the audience’s sake. And Gilles Lellouche would have directed one of the best French teen romances of the decade.
Actors François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos lack chemistry together, their performances in this film being bland and uncompromising. I suppose both actors should start to question their own careers in French cinema after two newcomers Mallory Wanecque and Malik Frikah overshadow them and steal the show in this confusingly mediocre film. At first, the film seems to act like a modern version of The Count of Monte Cristo.
I mean the old story of injustice to a young rebel who returns for revenge and the search for his beloved. However, it turns out with an exaggerated and caricatured toxic masculinity. And halfway through and at the end of the second act, the plot loses credibility.
The problem is, apart from the weight of everything, the strange determination that the film shows in demanding originality in every frame it offers, without achieving it even once. Every time it has to decide, it always opts for the most formal, the most obvious. And so, it repeats itself, three hours of the closest thing to a French blockbuster, with good marketing and PR behind it, is what French audiences will see this year.

Fictional miniseries about the life of Ayrton Senna da Silva, the Brazilian racing legend who won the Formula 1 World Championship three times. The writers of this series said they were subject to some restrictions due to Senna’s family’s involvement in the production.
Well, right now it’s the best biopic series on the streaming service Netflix, with his Brazilian partner marking the middle with the target! The acting is great, the telling of the story is so precise that it’s like you’re there in that moment.
I was and still am a Senna fan and I cried a lot when he died because I didn’t see a single F1 race for many years. This is a must-see for F1 fans, and for Senna fans, these are the moments that made them fall in love not only with the driver, but with the man.
He is a role model as an athlete and sportsman!

A legend, guys, like Tom Sellecks’ mustache. Anyway, I thought this show was a jack of all trades.
Some really funny lines, two very attractive female characters who never mess up, and also a great message about the bonds that form in life. I also found that this show resonated with me because it addresses dementia.
However, as each episode progressed, I became more invested and found each character charming and lovable in their own unique way. I definitely recommend this series and I’m also looking forward to another season.
