I’m so happy I was one of the first to see it because it is truly breathtaking
Story
Hippo, a peculiar youth, and his Hungarian stepsister Buttercup struggle to grow up in late 1990s America under the roof of a mother who has been in an institution at least once. I just saw it at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal and all I can say is that I love this film.
It really is an incredibly wild cinematic journey that you won’t regret
The incredible story, humor and stunning script will captivate you, make you laugh and keep you on the edge of your seat. The entire audience at Fantasia loved this film, clapping, laughing and being shocked/delighted at the sold out theater.
The acting from the entire cast is incredible
This film is truly a one of a kind gem and I pray everyone will see it. I have no doubt that this film will go far, and Mark will have an incredible career if he chooses to continue to use and develop his creative voice, tone and style.
I am completely stunned by how much I love it
It is truly outstanding, one of the best films I have seen in years. I really feel that this film is going to create a lot of stars.
