Story
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz finds herself stranded on an uninhabited island. In order to survive the harsh environment, Roz befriends the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned gosling. Lupita Nyong’o and writer-director Chris Sanders talk about remarkable works and their time making The Wild.

According to writer Peter Brown, the inspiration for “The Wild Robot” came from a sketch he made of a robot in a tree. He then asked the question, “What would an intelligent robot do in the wild?” When the fox enters the cabin, the deer by the door growls, but the sound effect is that of a recorded bear. Post-credit scene.

Is “The Wild Robot” the “Bambi” of generations…yeah, it’s so great…like the coffee shop from “Twin Peaks.” This animated masterpiece, Key Lime Pie, is a beautiful, well-rounded story that tackles many timely topics, including: finding your heart or living with a disability without preaching to anyone. When I first saw it, I laughed so hard at the brilliant, naturally shared comedic moments from Peter Brown’s book of the same name. in the second act, I was amazed at where this story arc was taking the audience and in the third act, I felt salt water in my eyes.

Celebrity voiceovers: Lupita Nyong’o, Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice”, she’s so hot right now), Bill Nighy, Matt Berry (“Toast of London”), Ving Rhames, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal and many more do an incredible job of bringing this storyline to life, supported by the lush atmosphere of the island and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it. Director Chris Sanders’ obsession with the animated “Lilo and Stitch” film “For the Croods”; paid dividends in “The Wild Robot.” This film shows us that sometimes, in order to survive, you have to become more than you were programmed to be.
